When it comes to performance the t629 is a solid offering, improving on the t809’s battery life but also taking an ever so small step backwards from the t809 in terms of overall design.

Fashion-conscious chatters looking for a smart-looking (if fingerprint-prone) handset could do much worse than Samsung’s SGH-T629 slider, which offers several cool extras (including Bluetooth, an MP3 player and a decent 1.3-megapixel camera/camcorder) while still packing in solid calling and messaging features. That said, the crowded design of the navigational keypad gave us some trouble, and we were annoyed by spotty sound over the otherwise workable speakerphone.

However compared to the high-end devices on the market, the T629 is far from cutting-edge. Regardless, the T629 is priced as a mid-level devices. And considering most high-end devices cost several hundred more, the T629 offers an excellent value for the price point.

The Samsung t629 fit in the fray as a mid-range phone. It presents an attractive, tapered appearance that also helps it fit nicely in your hand. If you’re looking for a phone that does all the now-common mobile functions to keep you connected and on time, the Samsung t629 stands worthy of your consideration.

The Samsung SGH-T629 is a great-looking, slim phone with a solid feature set, despite a few design flaws.

The Samsung SGH-T629 is a device worth trying; it has fashionable slider form-factor, and if you are looking for such type device, you may like it, as its construction is very solid. You won’t be surprised by any extraordinary features, like advanced multimedia, but the phone comes with goods like microSD slot for example. Combining this with good-looking and very fast menu, and average calling experience, the T629 is a nice mid-level phone.

The Samsung T629 includes many of the features of the Samsung T809, plus a few extras. Namely, there’s a way to add more memory to the cell phone and the inclusion of T-Mobile’s myFaves feature, which lets you choose five favorite people to call for free, regardless of carrier. It also ditches the black casing found on the T809, in favor of a more retro silver coloring. Overall, this cell phone is fun and fashionable; we just wish it had better call quality.
