Positives: Very good image quality outdoor. High res large monitor. Very effective optical stabilizer.No distortion with standard photos. No chromatic aberration. Starry Sky mode that allows exposures up to 60 seconds. Solidly built. Negatives: Compression a bit too strong at the Fine setting. Some noise at all ISO levels.16:9 mode not as well implemented as it should be.

The noise levels are the most disappointing aspect of this camera, at ISO80 there is already a noticeable level of noise present and by ISO 400 the image quality has deteriorated further.

The Leica lens is sharp and the 28mm wide angle has been a long time coming on such a small camera. But the poor image quality at ISO values above 100 really lets it down.
