Excellent picture quality; Impressive handling; Good connectivity.

Import, editing and DVD creation issues apart, it’s a great camcorder that does everything it says on the box. HD pictures are fabulous and the feature set will undoubtedly put some competitors on the defensive.

We love the portability and video quality, and even the option to shoot stills while recording video. (The cam’s 4-MP stills are as good as the video.) We’ve been patient with Sanyo’s flash camera efforts in high-def, and the wait has paid off.

If you want a camera that will handle the high resolutions that your snazzy HD-Ready TV can manage, without expecting the world of its operator, this is a great option.

This portable Full HD camcorder is well priced, but image quality isn’t great.

Sanyo is to be commended for another bold attempt to unify the differing needs of camcorder and digital camera users. However, it still doesn’t quite pull it off.
