PC WorldMany phones are now three-in-one devices, but the well-thought-out design and easy handling of the Rizr Z3 as a phone, camera, and music player make it a multimedia device I’d be happy to put in my pocket. |

Mobile Phones UKOverall this is a nice-looking handset, but one that lags behind the competition in most areas. It’s nice to see Motorola widening the appeal of the RAZR family by adding a slide-design phone to the range, but this isn’t a phone that can match the very best from Nokia, Samsung or Sony Ericsson. One word of warning before buying though – this isn’t the most robust phone, and a number of our users have had problems with the phone breaking – especially the screen cracking. |

mobile88.comAgain, we have a really hot-looking phone from Motorola. The slider mechanism is smooth and clicks into place both on the in and out directions. It is a sleek device, nicely bevelled at the edges and apparently going for just the right price. |

Techtree.comIt may not be all sleek like the D series from Samsung nor is it all that feature-rich like the Samsung sliders. But we can’t rule out the style that of the Motorola’s posse; and the number of RAZR handset users is proof to that so I ain’t just making a statement. |

Mobile-review.comOverall, the Z3 is a well-built slider making use of marvelous materials in the casing’s design. On the other hand, it brings nothing fundamentally new to the table and won’t become a bestseller in the full sense of this word – its sale rates will go up as the price falls down. |

Pocket-lintAs a design statement, Motorola has created a model that looks smart and more importantly has got the wow factor when we put it on the table in the pub for all to see. Those into product design will love the mix of materials used, however as we always end up writing in our reviews, while the software interface is by no means impossible to use, its approach, look and feel for us, just isn’t matching up to the design on the outside. |

CNETMotorola does a slim slider phone well with the attractive and well-performing GSM Rizr Z3. |

3G.co.ukThe RIZR doesn’t have the style of the KRZR but it’s nevertheless a competent mid-range slider phone. But while all these new Moto handsets are encouraging, they’re still in some tiny way in awe of the RAZR. |

GSM ArenaThe phone surely has great of look and feel. Its rubber and metal construction is so solid it makes you proud of it. But the lack of 3G, the strange SIM card solution and some other minor drawbacks makes the score even. So, we think that if RIZR is offered on a reasonable price, it might just become a market hit. If the price satisfies you and the offered pack suites your needs, don’t hesitate and give Motorola RIZR Z3 a try. |

Good Gear GuideMotorola’s first ever slider phone is a solid, but not outstanding mobile phone. The MOTORIZR offers a well balanced set of features for a pretty good price, but there is nothing new or unique about this handset. |

LAPTOP MagazineWhile the RIZR Z3 is certainly stylish, we think you can do better for the money. Unless you care more about looks than features, we say pick up the identically priced Nokia 5300 or the $149 BlackBerry Pearl instead. |
